Does Overparenting Hurt Working Turkish Mother’s Well-being? The Influence of Family–Work Conflict and Perceived Stress in Established Adulthood

چکیده

Although extant research demonstrates the negative impact of overparenting on child well-being, there remains a paucity evidence effect parents’ own well-being. The purpose this study is to investigate effects parental and explore mechanisms through which influences well-being working mothers, particularly among established adults. Thus, we examined serial mediation perceived stress family-to-work conflict (FWC) in linkage. With aim, data were collected from mothers (N = 258) aged between 30 45, period their lifespan generally characterized by efforts devoted career care. Via analyses, findings postulate that (a) relates (b) (both individually jointly with FWC) mediates relationship (c) FWC serially mediate association provide related experiences adulthood women struggling career-and care crunch perspective overparenting, stress, conflict.
